Turkish Airways offers flights from Hurghada International Airport (HRG), the second busiest airport in Egypt, which is located 5 km away from downtown Hurghada.

Hurghada International Airport is served by one terminal. Terminal features include ATMs, currency exchange, a post office, a mosque, a children’s play area, as well as more than 40 stores and bazaars, where visitors can pick up duty-free items and souvenirs. The airport also offers baggage storage facilities, a baggage wrapping service, Internet, numerous cafes and bars, as well as a full-service restaurant. A new terminal is currently under construction, which draws architectural inspiration from Hurghada’s sea and desert landscapes.
Getting to the Airport in Hurghada
Visitors can take a taxi to Hurghada International Airport, which takes about 15 minutes from downtown, or 15-30 minutes from the coastal hotels. Keep in mind that it is always advisable to agree on a fare with the driver before you get into the vehicle. A more economical option is to take the bus to Hurghada International Airport, which runs regularly between the airport, the center of Hurghada, and the resort area.
